The Department of Anaesthesia at TMH Patna supports every surgical speciality in the hospital, from day-care procedures to complex emergency operations. Our anaesthetists assess each patient before surgery, select the safest technique for their condition, and monitor vital functions continuously through the procedure and into recovery.
The team also runs the hospital's pre-anaesthetic check-up clinic, provides sedation for diagnostic procedures and manages acute and chronic pain alongside the surgical and critical care units. Modular operation theatres, multi-parameter monitoring and ventilator-equipped ICU beds are available round the clock.
